These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the appliance repair, maintenance, and installation services (the "Services") provided by One Day Appliance Repair LLC ("One Day", "we", "us"). By scheduling or accepting Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
We diagnose and repair residential household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, ranges, dishwashers, and microwaves. Availability of same-day service depends on scheduling, location, and parts availability, and is not guaranteed.
2. Diagnostic / Service-Call Fee & Estimates
A service-call or diagnostic fee may apply for a technician visit and on-site diagnosis. We provide the repair price before beginning work; you approve the price before we proceed. If you decline the repair, only the diagnostic/service-call fee applies.
3. Pricing & Payment
Parts and labor are stated separately on your invoice. Applicable Florida sales tax is charged on parts. Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed. We accept the payment methods shown on your invoice.
4. Warranty
Unless stated otherwise in writing, labor is warranted for ninety (90) days and parts for up to one (1) year from the date of service. The warranty covers only the specific component repaired and does not cover unrelated failures, misuse, neglect, power surges, or damage caused after service. Manufacturer part warranties, where longer, apply per the manufacturer.
5. Scheduling, Access & Cancellations
You agree to provide safe, timely access to the appliance and a responsible adult present during the visit. Please cancel or reschedule with reasonable notice. Missed appointments or lack of access may incur a trip fee.
6. Parts & Special Orders
Some repairs require ordering parts, which may extend the timeline. Special-order parts may be non-refundable once ordered.
7. Customer Responsibilities
You represent that you own the appliance or are authorized to request service, and that the information you provide is accurate. Please disclose any prior repairs or known hazards.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, One Day is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific Service at issue. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions or for appliances that are beyond economical repair.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts or by arbitration in Florida.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is posted on this page with the "Last updated" date above.
